Welcome to Mandalay University Library
Mandalay Intermediate College Library was established along with the Mandalay Intermediate College in the year 1925. This library was totally damaged by the Second World War and the present library had to start from the scratch. Mandalay University College Library was started with a nucleus of 2000 volumes in 1947. In the beginning, the library was housed on the second floor of the university main building. Then it got shifted to the first floor main building. As the collection of documents increased, the space was found insufficient for the accommodation. Hence, the library got shifted to the first floor of Razak Hall, which is dedicated to the Sayagyi U Razak, one of the fallen Martyrs of Myanmar, in the year 1955. In 1963, the library was shifted to the ground floor and in 1968, the whole building was occupied by the library. Starting from May 2013, the library shifted to new building.Visit Us
